YouTube and all its celebrities are constantly dominating the Internet and other social media. While I’m sure many of you have seen or heard of the online “phenomenon’s” like Jenna Marbles and Shane Dawson, there are many YouTubers that don’t get enough recognition from the online community. So here are the top ten, in no particular order.
1. PJ / KickThePj
PJ releases high quality content, which usually consists of short films. He will occasionally release more personal videos, like a Q&A with his fan base. PJ is one of the most talented YouTubers out there; he doesn’t just post a one minute video of him doing the cinnamon challenge. If you’re looking for someone to take you on an adventure from the comfort of your bed, KickThePj is the channel for you.
2. Thee Acquainted / TheeLifeWeLive
Be ready to get hooked, because this husband and wife musical duo will have you raving over their channels. Jacob and Arielle are two newlyweds who post vlogs weekly, and release a cover or original track on their main channel. What makes these YouTubers so unique is that they make sure to release content that will make their viewers happy. If you’re in the mood for a song cover, be sure to check out their channel.
3. MissMeghanMakeup
This YouTuber is what would be considered a “triple threat” in the video community. Meghan releases videos that vary from advice to living a happy life to prom makeup tutorials on a weekly basis, leaving you wanting more. Although she’s only two years into her online career, her subscription number will continue to go up from here.
4. Funforlouis
Louis is an English YouTuber and a daily vlogger. He brings his viewers along his not-so-average daily routines, like moshing or bungee jumping. Although his number of subscriptions are fairly high, Louis remains fairly underrated. He spends his days filming and his nights vlogging. If you ever feel like taking a vacation to Ireland, or even California, be sure to check out his channel.
5. Savannah Brown
No matter what she puts out on the internet, it seems to put you in a good mood. Whether it’s a slam poem or just a video on college, her posts are sure to leave you feeling empowered. Savannah brings a fresh outtake to videos compared to your typical TMI Tag.
6. SDK
This collaboration channel is by far the most original and hilarious on YouTube. Many of the members in the community tend to try too hard to appear humorous, but with the seven guys on this channel, you get a little bit of everything. Releasing content from Monday to Friday, you are exposed to seven different personalities, and are later surprised with videos on cats, advice, parodies, and even vlogs.
7. Ayydubs
Alyx is one of those people who will have you doubled over in your seat from laughing, even if she isn’t in front of you. If you’re having a bad day, she’s the one to lift your spirits. Of all the YouTubers, and possibly even some of the few actual people I know, Alyx takes the prize as the best story teller, and comedic genius.
8. Jonah Green
I may have saved this YouTuber as one of the last, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the best. Jonah is an amateur filmmaker who released a film that he directed and wrote with a partner. Compared to the rest on the social network, Jonah has achieved so much and he’s only 19. Whether you’re in the mood for a simple skit or a movie to watch on a Friday night, his channel fits the description.
9. LifeofBriBry
This is a vlogging channel run by two fiancées. They cover just about everything, from wedding tips to music to controversial issues. The content released is mainly focused on vlogs, but the lives of Candice and BriBry bring a mellow atmosphere to YouTube that is rare to find.
10. Orion Carloto
There are many words to describe this YouTube “star,” besides the fact that she stands out from the others in the community. She is one of the few who has a diverse channel which consists of prank calls, advice, and even monologues.
