Who’s behind the camera?: CCHS welcomes new teachers to staff

Tara Daub

New art teacher Tara Daub loves all things arts and crafts. Daub has been an art teacher for over 24 years, teaching all grades from pre-K all the way to 12th grade. Family is super important to the mother of two, and she has been married for over 25 years. 

“I want them to know that I am always here to help them succeed. I always tell my students that when they are with me, they are ‘my kids’ and everything I do in the classroom is to help them grow as a person and an artist.”

Craving the high school environment after teaching at Hawkes Bluff Elementary for the past eight years, Daub jumped at the opportunity to work with her longtime best friend and college roommate Heidi Dermer, the 9th grade ESE coordinator.
