Who’s behind the camera?: CCHS welcomes new teachers to staff

Sara Ramirez is a veteran when it comes to teaching in Cooper City. Working for 12 years at Pioneer Middle School, she is a familiar face to many students, staff and parents. With a love for math, Ramirez teaches Algebra 1, regular and honors, along with Critical Thinking. While she currently teaches mostly freshmen, she is still excited to see her old students in the hallways no matter if she is teaching them this year or not. Sarcasm and singing are common in her classroom, but she stresses a strong work ethic and knows that there’s a certain time and place for messing around.
