At 5’10” with the body mass of a string bean and a face that may as well have been hand-painted by Michaelangelo, Timothée Chalamet falls nothing short of stunning.

The 24-year-old actor from Manhattan, New York has been captivating the attention of boys and girls, men and women alike for three years since his breakout lead role as Elio Pearlman in the 2017 movie, “Call Me by Your Name.” However, Timothée was a star in the making years before “Call Me By Your Name.”

Chalamet was born into an artistic family as the grandson of director Rodman Flender and scriptwriter Harold Flender. Growing up, he appeared in several commercials and attended LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts. In 2014, he made his film debut in “Men, Women, and Children” as high school student Danny Vance. He gained larger roles in indie films later on, such as “Miss Stevens” and “The Adderall Diaries.”

Arguably, Chalamet’s most iconic role was in “Call Me by Your Name,” which received lots of critical acclaim. In fact, Chalamet was nominated for the Academy Award and Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance in the film, and at only 21 years old. People have been obsessed with the actor ever since.

Along with appearing in “Call Me by Your Name” in 2017, Chalamet has appeared in movies like the A24 production “Lady Bird” and the western drama “Hostiles.” These additional performances have also helped catapult his fame.

Besides attracting attention with his looks and captivating the audience with his performances, Chalamet’s personality is just as captivating. In January of 2018, Chalamet showed his humble and fun side when he and his co-star, Armie Hammer, were recorded dancing on the streets of Italy with fans after hosting a screening of “Call Me by Your Name” in the city of Crema.

Besides attracting attention with his looks and captivating the audience with his performances, Chalamet’s personality is just as captivating.

Not only did Chalamet dance with fans on the streets of Italy, but in October of 2019 he came to the red carpet premiere of his Netflix original film, “The King,” equipped with a bag of bagels that he handed out to his fans and other attendees.

Despite his fame, Chalamet remains an authentic, quirky and humble individual who engages with his fans, such as when he stopped to discuss bagels after giving them out on the red carpet, wore a fan’s peace sign shirt on the red carpet and even hugged crying fans in Venice, Italy.

Along with being naturally funny and genuinely friendly, Chalamet displays those same characteristics during interviews and talk shows. His innocent honesty, like when he said that Oprah has the softest hands in the world while on Jimmy Kimmel Live, adds to the reasons why so many adore him.

Chalamet has also displayed integrity. For instance, in January of 2018, he donated his salary from Woody Allen’s film “A Rainy Day in New York” to three different charities,  including Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN), Time’s Up and an LGBTQ+ Center in New York. This came after allegations that Allen sexually assaulted his adopted daughter in the 90s.

Besides his movies, a fan-favorite production that has become popular on the internet is Chalamet’s high school statistics project, in which he created a music video and rapped about math while kissing up to his teacher in a comedic way.

The video now has 3.5 million views on YouTube and the sound has been used by fans all over TikTok. The video originates from Chalamet’s brief period in high school when he dipped his toes into the pool of rapping and went by the stage name “Timmy T.”

As if this isn’t enough, Chalamet is also fluent in French, scoring major bonus points among fans.

Timothée Chalamet has found a place in the hearts of fans with his looks, talents and rare genuine and wholesome personality. There has even been a song written and recorded about him titled, “Timothée Chalamet Is Adored by All The People Because He’s Great.”

With teenage girls creating Timothée Chalamet shrines in the bathroom stalls of their schools, it’s safe to say that Timothée Chalamet will continue to live in the hearts of fans, and capture and captivate audiences.
