EMILY MORENO, STAFF WRITER, is a sophomore who joined The Lariat this year. Apart from school Emily dances as part of the senior company at Academy of Arts and studies all styles of dance. In addition to dancing there she works at their front desk. She also volunteers at her church and started a project to help homeless women. Emily loves spending time with her family, watching MARVEL movies, playing piano and listening to music (especially Niall Horan). She’s looking forward to her first year on the paper and first year of in-person high school.
