Have you ever wondered how there are always so many people at an airport traveling to the same place as you or from where all the people on your flight came from? How is it possible that all these people are going to the same place as you at the same time. With these and many more provoking questions, our generation came up with the “thought” that there are fake people in the world, otherwise known as non playable characters (NPC).

The term NPC is commonly used for characters in video games that are run by a computer, not controlled by a person. In games like Fortnite and Grand Theft Auto, there are bots for you to kill or they may try to kill you.

When a person in real life acts dumb or acts uncontrolled, it is a common joke to call them an NPC. In our world, people have come up with theories that there are in fact bots or NPC’s among our society.

The mall is a common occurrence of where you might find non playable characters. In stores, how is it that every five minutes a worker comes up to you and asks if you need assistance. They often say the same things too.

This summer, I visited a hotel in Egypt. Everywhere I went there was always someone mowing the lawn or washing the sidewalk. At the waterpark, all of the workers for the rides would ask me the same thing, “Hi how are you, where are you from?” I would always give them the same answer.

This got me thinking that all of the workers at the hotel were just not real. They all spoke the same, made the same hand movements and did the same thing.

Additionally, I was staying at a huge hotel said to have over 5,000 people. I barely saw anyone. Not a single soul other than some people at the beach or pool. Where were all the people?

NPC’s in our world are space fillers. The hundreds of people at the beach, at airports, at malls and every other insanely populated place has to be filled with bots. There is no way every person on this earth is real.

On TikTok, there was a video going around of many people leaving a building. One after the other, in a single file line, they saw that the road was closed one way so they had to take a different route. Each person leaving the building went on their own to check if the entrance was closed and then proceeded to walk the other way. Instead of just following the person in front of them who already saw the way was closed.

There are many more videos on Youtube and Tik Tok which show instances where the people might have been NPC’s.

In school, there are many cases where you may run into someone that you have never seen before. I know this has happened to me and I just think, “where on earth has this person been the whole time.” Schools most definitely have bots because where are all these random people coming from.

So with this example done I leave you with the thought of non-playable characters. They do exist in the world, no way that they don’t.
